Bichectomy

What are Bish's lumps?

Bish's lumps are fatty tissue lumps. They are located under the cheekbone, between the mucous membrane of the cheeks and the skin, and are present in every person from birth.

But if in childhood Bish's lumps are clearly visible, then in adults they are less noticeable. But sometimes such fat deposits are also noticeable in adults, which is why the cheeks look puffy, and folds may appear in the lower part of the face. In such cases, their removal is indicated - bischectomy.

The operation to remove Bish's lumps is performed mainly for aesthetic purposes, if the patient is not satisfied with the shape and oval of the face.
