HD liposculpture (lipomodeling) is an operation aimed at correcting the shape of the body, eliminating local fat deposits, forming a narrow waist, beautiful lines and smooth transitions of the body. The essence of the HD (High Definition - English high precision) technique is point lipoaspiration from problem areas, under the control of an ultrasound sensor, thanks to which you can achieve the most natural and harmonious results. Also under the control of this sensor, lipofilling of the buttocks, rectus abdominis, shoulders, trapezius, etc. occurs, which makes these procedures completely safe for patients.
What can be changed with lipomodeling?
Contrary to popular belief, liposculpture is not about losing weight, but rather about adding volume using your own fat and changing the shape of the body using lipoaspiration (fat removal).
Often, people turn to a plastic surgeon with problems such as:
- Excess fat deposits in the abdominal area.
- Excess fat deposits in the hips and/or shoulders.
- Lack of clear waist contours.
- Unsatisfactory shape buttocks.
All this is united by the fact that most often these problems are not solved by sports and nutrition, or require many years of grueling training and diets.
Indications for surgery:
- Individual feature of the figure, which becomes especially noticeable with the onset of puberty
- The result of metabolic imbalance
- Natural consequences of pregnancy and childbirth in women
- Dimples in the lateral parts of the gluteal zone.
Contraindications to surgery:
- Breastfeeding period
- Allergy to local anesthesia
- Viral diseases in the acute stage (ARI, herpes, intestinal disorders)
- Taking certain medications (it is imperative inform your doctor during the preliminary consultation about all the medications you are taking)
- Varicose veins
- Hypertension
- Diabetes
- Autoimmune diseases
- Dermatological rashes
- Menstruation period in women and the week before it
The course of the operation and the postoperative period
The operation lasts from three to five hours, is performed under general anesthesia. During the operation, excess fat deposits are removed in problem areas, and, if necessary, lipofilling of areas with insufficient subcutaneous fat layer is performed. The incision is usually located in the natural folds of the body and is about 5 mm wide, six months after the operation the scars are almost invisible.
The pain syndrome is usually not expressed after lipomodeling: the patient does not feel discomfort at rest.
For a month after the operation, the patient will need to wear compression underwear around the clock. About two months after the operation, it will be necessary to limit physical activity.
After two months after the operation, it is necessary to begin light physical exercises gradually increasing the load. This is important to maintain and even improve the postoperative result.
